Meet Luba Armstrong. Luba came to UOF with his disabled father who was a teacher at our primary school. He particularly loved his grandfather who is now deceased. He said, “My grandfather was my best parent.” His favorite subjects in primary school are math and science. He would like to be a doctor and possibly serve in the army. He wrote, “I have learned that God is the giver of everything to me. He has given life, and all my body parts like arms, legs, head are good.” His best games are football and rugby. He is the goalkeeper. He believes that a good leader is humble, God-fearing, and a person who helps others in any situation. “I believe that one time I will be a leader. Amen.”
Meet Esther Awujjo. Esther came from Soroti to Kasozi Primary School. She said she’s thankful for the heart God puts in other people to help her go to school. Her father was poisoned and died, leaving her mother to care for their small children. Most often, this leads to abject poverty.
Esther’s favorite subjects are English and Social Studies. She says she would like to serve in the army “to create peace in my country.” She trusts God because He said in Matthew 7:7 to ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened for you, search and you will find. “That’s how He will help me in my future.” Her favorite food is fish and she loves netball.
Sponsorship is $40 a month, for approximately 6 years. 100% of your donation goes to paying their school fees. In Uganda, only 17% of the population has a chance to go to high school. Contact Susan Hill at email@example.com or signup on our website.
